About Kat Nolte
From a young age, I developed a deep love for crafting and art, nurtured by my mother who introduced me to sketching and painting. While in high school, I immersed myself in art, honing my skills further. However, as life unfolded after graduation, the demands of a full-time job left little room for artistic pursuits.
In 2022, I reignited my passion for creativity when I borrowed an iPad and discovered Procreate, marking the beginning of a consistent return to drawing after nearly a decade. Simultaneously, my interest in NFTs blossomed, leading me to delve into their market dynamics throughout 2021.
By the spring of 2022, I ventured into selling my digital works as NFTs, a journey that yielded success with the sale of my first pieces and continued thereafter. Eager to explore new avenues, in the spring of 2023, I experimented with selling NFTs paired with physical utility, offering hand-painted apparel items alongside digital artwork. Over the summer, I delved into customizing shoes, jackets, purses, and hats, infusing each piece with my unique artistic flair.
In November 2023, I experienced a profound rediscovery of my passion for traditional painting, particularly in the realm of abstract portraiture on canvas. Since then, I've dedicated myself to refining my style and technique, embracing the joy of the creative process once more.
After nearly a decade since my last foray into traditional painting, I am exhilarated to embark on this new chapter, filled with renewed enthusiasm and excitement for what lies ahead.
